Meet
Greig

Invercargill

Greig has come from over 20 years in the civil construction industry where safety has been a major part of everyday activities. He has managed teams of staff with 35+ reports directly to him working on multi-million dollar contracts. He is a workplace trainer, a sports nut and coach, a hunter, a diver, a husband and a Dad.

Greig comes from the “coal face”, the son of a Joiner and a nurse, from good solid blue collar heritage were effort and hard work is used to measure worth. He’s a do’er, a grafter, he knows what sweat and sore muscles feel like. But most importantly he knows how to listen.

“Good ideas don’t mind who have them!!”
Greig is honest…sometimes too honest. He’ll tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear. But he’ll keep things light hearted also. He’ll make the process easy for you
On a more serious note

On a more serious note, he has also seen the effects that serious and not so serious harm has had on a work force. He has completed numerous incident and accident investigations for 3rd parties as well as at an individual level. He has seen the effects of accidents, on staff morale and culture, and how an accident can change a life. He has seen the positive and negative effect of safety on the workforce.
Kiwis are hard workers and we often do the wrong thing for the right reason, and this applies to safety. We are notorious for putting safety to one side to complete that “5 minute job”, with the “she’ll be right” outlook.

If we harness that “spirit” with a good dose of “common sense” in the “execution”, then we are well on our way from First Base to Home plate.
